Sharing Seminar： Cleaner Production Partnership Programme & VersaTech Energy Innovation Ltd
The Cleaner Production Partnership Programme (the Programme) was launched in 2008. Through funding projects and technology promotion activities, it has successfully encouraged Hong Kong-owned factories in Hong Kong (HK) and Guangdong Province (GD) to adopt cleaner production technologies and practices. Given the positive environmental benefits brought by the Programme, the Chief Executive announced in the 2024 Policy Address an additional allocation of HKD 100 million to extend the Programme until 2027, continuing to support the green transformation of HK-invested manufacturers and align with the national drive for high-quality development.
To help Hong Kong-funded manufacturers and technology enterprises better understand clean production and promote collaboration between the two parties, we have invited VersaTech Energy Innovation Ltd to serve as a registered environmental technology service providers for the Hong Kong Productivity Council's "Clean Production Partnership Program." In the past 20 years, it has provided professional environmental protection and energy saving to more than 500 factories. These include well-known Chinese and international companies such as Sinopec, CNOOC, Huaneng Power, Sun Hung Kai, Coca-Cola and Vitasoy. Details are as follows:
